What is the difference between "Have you got the time" and "Have you got time"

by 앵그리선반장 2020. 5. 17.

Sometimes that can be used as the same tho. For example: "have you got the time to walk to the store with me?" Or "have you got time to go to he store with me?" ("Have you got time" is like slang, it's not correct English but it's used often)

So,“have you got time” and “have you got the time” can both be used to ask someone if they have the time to do something.
However, only “have you got the time” can be used to ask what time it is.
